Project Darkside - "Trident"

This is a three-wheeler car design created for the Darkside Design competition.
The design was created in co-operation with a fellow designer Janne Haveri.
It was not successful in the competition, but we still had fun creating it.
I feel the design came out nice in any case.
Design parameters were laid out by the competition rules - the tire size and location, chassis construction, exhaust and engine etc. were set and could not be changed.
We came up to main ideas of using large, sweeping surfaces and dark/light color scheme to control the visual mass and balance the unconventional three-wheel layout.
There were lots of different ideas and sketches, some of the steps leading to this result are included here.
